Who is this aimed for?

Adults who have recently been diagnosed with ADHD and want to learn more about their diagnosis. 

People who have been diagnosed with ADHD for a while but feel they would benefit from a deeper understanding of ADHD.

Adults who believe they may either have ADHD or who have many features of ADHD and are curious to deepen their understanding of this neurodivergent condition.

Who will deliver the course?

This will be delivered by Dr. Hannah Nearney, Consultant Psychiatrist, in collaboration with CiM.

What will participants get from this course?

A deeper understanding of the way ADHD can show up in adults including the complex relationship between ADHD, executive dysfunction, and mental health problems.

Confidence to navigate the “post-ADHD diagnosis” period.

A dedicated session on ADHD in women, including the effect of hormonal changes.

Greater understanding of ways to manage ADHD in adults including the confidence to understand medication options and how to get the most out of these.

The opportunity to ask the expert any questions you have regarding the topics covered.

What the course does not offer

Content regarding ADHD in children/adolescents/parenting.

Content specific to healthcare systems/medication outside of the UK.

Individual medical advice or opinions regarding participants on the course; this always needs to be provided by a healthcare professional working directly with you, taking your unique situation and health needs into account.
