Victoria & Jamie Galpin - Uncertainty and executive functioning

17th May, 13.00-14.00 GMT

In this live podcast recording Victoria is joined by Chartered Developmental Psychologist Dr Jamie Galpin. Jamie is a Lecturer at UCL and Education Officer at NASEN and Author of new book The Anxiety Workbook for Supporting Teens Who Learn Differently: A Framework and Activities to Build Structural, Sensory and Social Certainty.

Victoria met Jamie at the London SEN show 2022 where Jamie was speaking about the link between young people’s mental ill health and uncertainty. He is just as interested in the impact of stress and uncertainty on the brain and brain development as Victoria and this is sure to be a fascinating and insightful conversation.

Professionals, parents and older young people will all benefit from tuning into this conversation. Listeners will learn about Jamie’s approach through the medium of his life story. Victoria will facilitate a semi-structured interview where questions from the audience will be posed to Jamie; join us on the day to get involved in the conversation.
